  1. Abbey,

Your photo essay is awesome! I'm so jealous that you got to travel to all these big cities! It's comforting to know that everywhere you went, they were aware of our environment, and were also taking action. I can't believe that in New York City it's a $350 fine for honking! What do you do if someone's about to hit you with their car?!? Ah, crazy...but I really enjoyed your photo essay. Good job Abbey!

  2. Great idea! I LOVE the sign that says "Burn Calories, Not Electricity". Also, I like that you mentioned noise pollution - that definitely is a problem I never really think about!

  4. Nice work at being very environmentally observant on your trips Abbey! I wish I had 20 of the "Take the stairs!" sign to put around. I was just in FL for spring break and those pictures you have up doesn't help me being back home. Ha. Good job Abbey!

  5. Abbey- What I really loved about this post is that all of the six cities you featured were big cities! I feel like it is important to get the message out about "going green" to a bunch of people at once and big city green movements are definitely a step in the right direction. It looks like you and Wyatt had lots of fun on the bolt bus! That sounds so interesting to me. I've never been to the east coast but if I do one day I will have to pay attention and look for some of the green movements you spotted! --S

  6. Abbey-
Wow you just get to travel all over don't you?! I can't believe people get charged $350 if caught honking! I think honking is pretty annoying and rude, so maybe that's a good thing. haha. Very interesting post!
